Terms and Conditions at
Rejuveness Day Spa

SPA POLICIES

APPOINTMENTS & RESERVATIONS

We require a 70 % Deposit to secure your booking, weather your booking is online, via the phone or via Whats App. We will send you a Link via Yogo to pay the deposit. On the Yogo Link  you can then choose if you would like to pay via Credit card, Visa Master card or instant EFT. Once you have made the payment, Yogo will send you a receipt of the transaction and they will automatically email us that the payment has been made. so no need to send us a proof of payment.  We will confirm your booking via Sms/Whats App once we have received the payment. The balance of your treatments will be due on the day of your reservation with us. Our receptionist will send you an online consultation form to complete 24 hours before your arrival to reduce waiting time for your treatments.

If you have a Gift Voucher, please mention that to our Receptionist at the time when you are making your Reservation as well as the Gift Voucher Number. In this case you will not be asked to pay a Deposit if the Voucher’s value is not greater that the treatments you are booking for. Please see our T’s & C’s for the Gift Vouchers listed below.

We do accept walk-in appointments, however we tend to get booked up pretty quickly.  To avoid disappointment we strongly recommend Booking your treatments in advance. This will make sure that there will be availability for you and your friends or family joining you and allow you to plan your day better.

You many  give us a Call or Whats App  us on 079 813 3009 where, Our Professional Receptionists have all the information needed to help you choose your Spa treatments that will suit you and your needs. They are both very friendly and helpful, and you can be certain to get everything and more that you have asked for. Please be specific when you are making a reservation on which treatments you would like to have and for how many people.

If you would like to make a Reservation for as a Surprise booking or Spa Treat for your Friends or Family we highly suggest you purchase a Gift Voucher as our Gift Voucher are Valid for 3 years from the Date of purchase. They can then booking any treatment for the amount you Gifted them and at the time that would be most convenient to them. We often find that the person you would like to Spoil might have other Plans on the day that you might not be aware off, which then results into a no show or a last minute cancellation. PRICES POLICY  We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest treatments. Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, please note that prices, specials, treatments, and information are subject to change at any time with or without prior notice. 

CHECK IN:

It is important to arrive on time for your appointment to avoid inconveniencing other clients. We strongly recommend arriving
15 minutes early to avoid potential disruptions and to complete any necessary paperwork, such as a health questionnaire or consent form, without feeling rushed. You can enjoy Rejuveness Day Spa, by simply sitting and enjoying our Refreshing Welcome drink whilst taking in the Serenity and Tranquility of our Spa. Please check in at the Front Desk.  Do to our very busy schedule – If you arrive 30 min – 60 min earlier than you appointment time we unfortunately will not be able to start your treatments and you will have to wait for your scheduled appointment time.

CANCELLATION & TARDINESS POLICIES

Forty-eight hours (48) notification is required for all cancellations or re-scheduling, which the 70% deposit is still NON Refundable. If you are late for your session, you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment. Due to our tightly booked schedule, we are generally unable to extend your session beyond your original appointment time. Regardless of the length of the service given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service you scheduled. If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel on short notice, 100% of the treatment price will be due and is Non-Refundable.

We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, depending on circumstances, we may be forced to shorten or reschedule your service.

Clients who arrive late will be charged in full for their scheduled session, but will receive an abbreviated, pro-rated session. For example, if you scheduled an hour session and arrive 15 minutes late, you will be charged for that hour session but will only receive 45 minutes of treatment for that session, including consultation and changing time.

BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS
As a courtesy, we try to send you a reminder SMS/WhatsApp or email to confirm your appointments one – two business days prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to make this call or are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and the cancellation fee

SPA ETIQUETTE

Spa etiquette refers to the expected behaviour and manners that are appropriate when visiting our Spa. Whether you’re a seasoned spa-goer or a first-time visitor, it’s essential to know the proper etiquette when visiting our Spa.
We ask that you Soften your Voice upon Arrival. Also please turn off your cellular devices when you are inside Rejuveness Day Spa as our Spa is a Place to Relax and Unwind from the outside worlds worries and stresses.
Our goal is to provide the most peaceful and relaxing environment possible to each guest. Leaving your phone behind or keeping it out of sight can help you fully immerse yourself in the spa experience and reap the full benefits of your visit. Thank you for your consideration.
We do not allow any outside drinks or food at our Day Spa, as we have a selection available. Spa platters and Muffins must be ordered 24 hours in advance as we order it in from an outside company.  We offer Complimentary drinks such as Wines, Fruit juice, Coffee or Tea.

Showering before visiting a spa is important for both personal hygiene and consideration for other guests. Showering removes any dirt, oils, sweat or sea sand from your body, which can make the spa facilities less sanitary and less enjoyable for other guests. Additionally, showering before entering the Spa helps to open up your pores and prepare your skin for treatments like massages, facials, or body scrubs. This can improve the effectiveness of the treatments and help you get the most out of your Spa Experience. Taking a quick shower before visiting the Spa is a simple and important step to ensure a clean and enjoyable experience for yourself and others.

The spa is a place for relaxation and rejuvenation, and having your phone with you can be a distraction and can disrupt the peaceful atmosphere. To be respectful of others and help create a relaxing atmosphere for everyone, turn off your phone or put it on silent mode. Ultimately, the goal of visiting a spa is to disconnect from the outside world and focus on your own well-being.Maintain a quiet atmosphere in the spa and respect the personal space and privacy of other clients. Be mindful of your volume when conversing and avoid disruptive behaviour.

Use common courtesy and treat others as you would like to be treated. This includes being polite, friendly, and respectful to other guests and Spa staff. Dispose of any trash properly, return any borrowed items to their proper location, and leave the spa clean and tidy for the next guest.Visiting Rejuveness Day Spa is an opportunity to unwind and indulge in some much-needed relaxation and self-care. However, to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable experience, it’s important to be mindful of  our Spa Etiquette. From arriving on time and respecting others’ privacy to using common courtesy and leaving our Spa clean, following these guidelines can help create a serene atmosphere for everyone at the Spa.By embracing these etiquette tips, you can fully immerse yourself in the Spa experience and leave feeling Refreshed and Rejuvenated.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS POLICY:
Please notify our receptionists before reserving your treatments if you have cancer, heart problems, circulation and blood clots, special physical concerns, diabetes, allergies, or are pregnant. In serious cases you will be required to present us with a doctor’s letter confirming that it is for you to have any of our spa treatments.
All spa guests will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire upon check-in, if you have not completed our online consultation form prior to your arrival. 

HEALTH, ALLERGIES, OR PREGNANCY CONSIDERATIONS:
When visiting or calling for your appointment, please make sure to notify our therapist if you have any health conditions, limitations, allergies to medications or foods, physical ailments, medications you are currently taking, or if you are Pregnant. We will only do Pregnancy massage up to 32 weeks of pregnancy. After that the risk becomes to high for the mother and baby’s safety.
We also encourage for you to alert our therapist immediately for any discomfort during your treatments.

PRICES POLICY
We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest treatments. Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, please note that prices, services, and information are subject to change at any time with or without prior notice.

REFUND POLICY:
All service sales, products and gift card sales are FINAL and is non-refundable.

GIFT CARDS:
Gift Vouchers are Strictly Valid for 3 YEARS from Date of Purchase and cannot be extended and is non-transferable.
Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
Appointments must be kept or the voucher will be terminated.
Gift Cards  will be honoured for Spa Treatment purchases only.
Your Gift Card must be presented at check out, otherwise you will be responsible for any charges incurred during your visit to the Spa.
Gift Cards are available for purchase at the front desk or on our website.
Gift Cards can be used at any time for treatments (not products) at Rejuveness Day Spa during the 3years that the Gift Voucher is Valid for.                    Vouchers not valid for spa specials.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY POLICY:
We do believe that every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with your skin care specialist or therapist will remain confidential, as will your health history form.
Client lists and email lists are confidential. We do not share our client lists with outside companies.

RESTRICTIONS:
We also suggest to please let us know if you are wearing contact lenses or using skin medications before doing your treatment.
We also suggest for you to please leave your valuable items at home when doing your treatment. We regret, but we will not be responsible for loss or damage of your personal items.
Please remember that the room must be prepared and used for the next client and should be vacated after treatment upon completion of service within a reasonable amount of time.
We do not allow smoking inside the Spa at any time.
Rejuveness Day Spa does not except any Responsibility of loss of personal items such as jewellery, cell phones, handbags, wallets, credit cards ext.
All Treatments done at Rejuveness Day Spa is done at your own risk. We do not take any Responsibility for Any damage there many be caused by any products, hair, skin, beauty or nails or any equipment.
We do not take any Responsibility for any injuries that may occur whilst you are on/at Rejuveness Day Spa’s Premises.

AGE REQUIREMENT POLICY:
Rights of admission are reserved
Please note that Spa guests must be the age of 13 years or older to receive Spa treatments at Rejuveness Day Spa and with the approval of a guardian or parent.
Rejuveness Day Spa does not offer any child minding services.
Children under the age of 13 years are always strictly the parent’s responsibility and ensure that they do not disturb other Clients or the Tranquility of our Spa.

OTHER TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT:
Many treatments require the removal of jewellery. Please do not bring valuables with you; we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Please respect the right to a quiet atmosphere for all guests
We do not take any responsibility for any damage there may be caused by any products or equipment.
Live streaming and photos of our employees and/or services are against our company standards policy without permission.
We ask that you refrain from talking loudly and that you turn off all cell phones.
If you are scheduled for a facial, we encourage for you to come in with no makeup on.

THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL SPA ESTABLISHMENT:
Any sexual comments or remarks will result in immediate termination of your treatment and will be reported to authorities. You will then also be held responsible for the full amount of the treatment.

NUDITY CONCERNS
You will never be asked to change in front of any of our staff or other clients. All rooms are private, and you will be alone while changing. If you are having multiple services that require your clothing to be removed, robes are provided for covering as you move from room to room. The therapist will always knock on the door before entering the room, and if you are not ready, they will not enter. During the treatment, only the area being treated will be uncovered. Our staff is highly trained in “draping,” which is the careful practice of covering all parts of the body not being touched. Removing your clothing gives you a much better experience as the therapist is free to work all of the muscles without barrier. Male clients should leave on their boxers or underwear, and female clients should remove their bras but leave on underwear also.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Our services would be more convenient if you are free of restrictive clothes. If you are scheduled for a Spa package or more than 1 treatment for example a massage, and a facial, body scrub , manicure or pedicure. You will be asked to put on one of our robes and slippers in a private room. Robes and Slippers will be provided for you.

THINKING ABOUT DOING DR FISH PEDICURES? HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
If you are booked for a Dr Fish or Deluxe Dr Fish Spa Pedicure, please do not apply any cream or lotions prior to your visit to your legs and feet as it is harmful to our fish.
Please wear loose fitted clothing on your legs.
We are unable to put you in our Dr Fish tanks if you have any open sores, any sores or nail fungus on toenails and feet.Dr Fish Pedicure tanks uses special UV filters to keep water clear from infections and is done at your own risk. 
Our Dr Fish Tanks water gets replaced daily with fresh water to maintain the health of our Dr Fishes. We give them the absolute best care we possibly can.

GRATUITY
Gratuities are not included in prices of our services or gift certificates and are always appreciated. Industry standards on gratuities are 10-15% of the regular cost of service — but the amount is totally at the discretion of our clients. 
You may tip the therapist directly or leave it at the front desk.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
We accept all major credit cards, (Visa, Master Card)
Cash, Gift Voucher, EFT’s  Yogo transactions. Full payment is due at time of service.

Nail Polish, Gels and Nail Enhancements

Quality Guarantee – Regular Polish.
Regular ORLY Nail polish applications may last in duration from 1 to 12-days depending on several factors specific to the client including:
Client Lifestyle, Client Health and following of maintenance instructions. Rejuveness Day Spa does NOT guarantee the longevity of ANY regular polish product once your appointment has been completed due to the varying factor explained above.

Quality Guarantee – Gel Polish
Gel Polish – often referred to as Lola Lee – is a light-cured  rubber based gel-polish product that may last a duration of 2-4 weeks depending on several factors specific to the client including:
Client Lifestyle, Client Health and following of maintenance instructions.  However, there may also be additional complications in the application process, the chemistry of the product and other factors that may cause product breakdown (peeling, lifting, fading, wrinkling, etc.) Due to this, Rejuveness Day Spa provides a 24-hour guarantee period, in which if you experienced any of these issues you may return to the Spa to have a repair done FREE of charge. However, it is at Rejuveness Day Spa’s discretion!
If we feel that your product breakdown was not cause by error in application and exceeds normal wear and tear you will be charged for the nail repair service.

Other Nail Technicians Work
We will not preform services to clients if they already have existing Gel Nail Enhancements from another Nail Technician. We are unable to fully identify the method of preparation, method of application and the product used in your previous service. Due to these varying factors, allergic reactions, adverse chemical reactions, and an increase in natural nail injury may occur.
It is our #1 priority to ensure the health and safety of our clients both during and following their appointments with us.

Sexual Harassment Policy:

Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favours, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute sexual harassment when:

  1. A decision affecting that individual is made because the individual submitted to or rejected the unwelcome conduct; or
  2. The unwelcome conduct unreasonably interferes with an individual’s work performance or creates an intimidating, hostile, or abusive environment.

Certain behaviours, such as unwanted touching of a therapist or unwelcome actions of a sexual nature, are always wrong.
Unwelcome actions such as the following are inappropriate and, depending on the circumstances, may in and of themselves meet the definition of sexual harassment or contribute to a hostile environment:

  • Sexual pranks, or repeated sexual teasing, jokes, or innuendo, in person or via whats-app.
  • Verbal abuse of a sexual nature;
  • Touching or grabbing of a sexual nature;
  • Repeatedly standing too close to or brushing up against a person;
  • Repeatedly asking a person to socialize during off-duty hours when the person has said no or has indicated he or she is not interested
  • Giving gifts or leaving objects that are sexually suggestive;
  • Repeatedly making sexually suggestive gestures;
  •  unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature that affects the work environment. A victim of sexual harassment can be a man or a woman. The victim can be of the same sex as the harasser.
  • The client keeps offering the Therapist more money to preform sexual acts during a massage or offer to pay more money when making a booking. This behaviour will not be tolerated at all and you will be banned from Rejuveness Day Spa and all calls, whats-app and sms’s will be Blocked.
  • We are a ZERO TOLERANCE Spa. Clients and our staff should all feel safe at all times. If a client breaks the zero tolerance rule, they will be banned from Rejuveness Day Spa for life and the authorities will be called. (inappropriate behaviour, talk, or touch are not allowed.)

OUR COMMITMENT to prevent Covid-19 contamination and flatten the Curve!

  • All Staff will wear masks at all times.
  • Clients are required to wear mask upon entry of Rejuveness Day Spa
  • Sanitizer will be applied to every client’s hands on entry to Rejuveness Day Spa & before making payment and before touching any products.
  • We ask all clients to complete our online consultation form before they arrive for their treatments as we no longer using paper consultations forms.
  • We will practice social distancing so hugging will be virtual for the time being.
  • All stations will be equipped with sanitizer for staff to sanitize equipment and surfaces before and after all services.
  • All sheets and towels are changed after each client and we replace them with clean sanitized sheets and towels.
  • We will ensure to have a minimum of 1m distance between clients who are having their feet and nails done in a common space.
  • We will minimize time spent in common areas so will not make use of any areas that involve ‘hanging around’.
